E Packing and Crating Services

We are specialized in fabricating wooden crates, plywood crates as per the specifications of our respected clients. With our experience and knowledge in carpentry works, we can provide the most cost effective and secure packaging available. Hence, giving our customers the peace of mind that their products are well protected for transition of any transportation means.

Our export packing and crating division is composed of well-trained staff dedicated in all forms of crating and packaging move solutions. One of our specialties is the cleanroom packaging services for the semiconductor industry.

·         Normal plywood re-packing

·         Vacuum packing for sensitive equipment

·         All types of custom made packing

v  Normal Packing - this packing service is suitable for all general moving needs. Includes packing with stretch films and fully enclose with wooden case. Silica gels are used to enhance the vapor absorption

v  Vacuum packing - the vacuum packing service provides higher level of protection, ensuring the item is in perfect condition   upon delivery. Goods are packed with bubble pack and stretch film provided with  extra protection layer using aluminum foil then packed together with vaporization materials to reduce humidity using silica gel

Shock Resistance Packing - this is introduced for item that is fragile and needs extra care. Products are packed in crates with fully cushion pallet and extra PE foam pads are wrapped all over the whole package. An extra indicator is provided and placed along the corners of the pack case to protect the products from rough handling or vibration.

SPEC LOGISTICS PRIVATE LIMITED also offers value-added services like:

Moving / Rigging Capabilities

Training on Construction Safety Course

Training on Construction Safety Course is compulsory for every person working on site under SPEC LOGISTICS PRIVATE LIMITED control. Trainings include: Risk Management Course, Signalman and Rigger Course, Building Construction Safety Manager /Supervisors Course, Construction Safety Orientation Course for Workers, Lifting Supervisors Safety Course

Toolbox meetings

Toolbox meetings with the customer and workers are carried out daily in order to discuss and resolve any possible issues during the project.

Work method statements

The purpose of work method statements is to ensure that all personnel required to carry out the tasks have been fully instructed in the way they are to complete the task.  The method statements describe in detail where, when and how a job or process will be carried out identifies any potential hazards and lists the appropriate control procedures.

Risk assessment

The purpose of a risk assessment is to provide information and solutions to the different issues that can be encountered during the completion of a task. Every risk, even minor has to be identified and assessed. The risk assessment informs the people onsite of the incidents which could possibly happen and as a consequence take the necessary precautions.

Incident/Accident reporting

Reporting incidents and accidents help to improve safety on site, near miss incidents are also recorded as these will occur far more frequently than accidents. It is the project manager’s responsibility to maintain an accurate record of all site accidents and near misses and inform the Ministry of Manpower in case of major injury or concern.
